Thread: What is the purpose of the "#" under reviewer's name

What is the purpose of the "#" under reviewer's name

Hi all,

I've noticed that every single review posted under the listings has this "#" symbol right below the reviewer's name and join date. I understand that this symbol, which is actually a link, refers to this particular review, but is that thing really necessary? I mean all it does is take you right to the same review...

Is it safe to simply remove it from the code in the template? Will removing it brake other links, like a link from a home page "Recent Reviews" sidebar widget?
I just think this lone # symbol looks out of place in the middle of every single review!
