Inconsistent Image Scaling and Cropping

This issue was addressed in Legacy Vantage 3.X and Josh (developer) proposed some code at this link:

Why wasn't this code carried over into Vantage 4.X?

Logo image showing in featured page. Seems OK because I created that image at Homepage Image measured pixel size 1440 by 560 pixels. Little clipping from the top.

Logo image showing as recent listing in front page. Here it starts to get off, more clipping from the top.

Logo image showing as search result. Here the image is quite seriously off... This time clipping from the BOTTOM???

This image looks ok because it is only a centered logo.

It gets really VERY, VERY bad when you have a logo and logotype - which most people have.

Please advise...

P.S. Development needs to pay close attention to images and other aspects of the user interface because if they see outwardly JUNK looking items on the screen, they will think there are more issues under the hood.
