I think you have done well with your site considering your colour blindness, but I have to be honest and state that the site looks to me to be a little too flat.

The colour scheme needs lifting a little. It depends on what you ultimately want, but the best way I can describe what it looks like to me is that it has a slight transparency applied to the whole site.

Having said that I have recently calibrated my screen so It may just be how it looks at my end.

However - if you look at the welcome box with the three boxes showing (register/login/add-new links) you should see that these are the only things which gives the home page a bit of a lift/punch when viewing it.

I would change anything with a colour of #A24E55 to #C30038 and the search submit button to #BAD381.

Again - this is my opinion only.

    Regards

Hab da mal was probiert:

    3 bigs prob here

    - one. logo is wrong (you have some white inside)

this is one is empty so color will be the same as background

    not Jean's here !

    - loading is awful completely freeze my computer
try to add something like that in your root server .htaccess to Speed the load

    PHP Code:
    # By file extension
    SetEnvIfNoCase request_uri \.mdbgzip=
    SetEnvIfNoCase request_uri
    \.bmpgzip cache-enable=mem
    SetEnvIfNoCase request_uri
    \.(?:jpg|gif|png|swf|avi|rm)$ no-gzip

    # By MIME type
    SetEnvIfNoCase mime text/.* gzip=9 cache-enable=mem
    SetEnvIfNoCase mime audio
    /wav gzip cache-enable=mem
    SetEnvIfNoCase mime image
    /bmp gzip cache-enable=mem
    SetEnvIfNoCase mime message
    /rfc822 gzip

normaly that would be immediate or error 500 depending on you server.

    *Site updated*
I tried to bring some more colors in (using colorschemerdesigner.com), to go against the flat, transparent like design, as mentioned before. Always interested in feedback, thank you all,
    Peter

    every server have different configuration
this need to be made on your side.

this can be do in .htaccess that you have in root of your site
and you have one because WordPress create one himself so just need to edit.
    So try and tell.

    Hi Peter,

    Gruss
