Everyone has done such great work looking around this forum, and i just wanted to share what I’ve done with ClassiPress. It’s still in public Beta testing to work out a few final bugs, but for the most part it’s solid. Haven’t promoted the site yet (well, started today) so it only has a few test ads that i placed to work out functional stuff, but i wanted to share with you guys first.

I’ve kinda lost track of everything I’ve changed, but here’s the short list (in no particular order):
- Lightbox style modal login and register screens (in addition to modded normal screens)[/*:m:3doxov49]

- JQuery date picker for listings with a start date/event date[/*:m:3doxov49]
- when logged in, added the ability to create a “quick listing” from directory by clicking a plus button that appears when you roll over a category name. basically just skips the first page right to the details form making it a little quicker.[/*:m:3doxov49]
- reworked search to include auto-complete keywords, auto-complete zip/city and search by listing id - also modified search results page pretty good[/*:m:3doxov49]
- city, state and zip are all based on a database table i added of every US city. City names will always be the same and will be associated with their zip code, state, etc (no user typos that way, and i have reliable city,state/zip info to place in each listing to search/filter on)[/*:m:3doxov49]
- Video pricing and enable/disable options in admin price settings[/*:m:3doxov49]
- Video up-sell on post form[/*:m:3doxov49]
- added “featured price” by category options in admin price settings[/*:m:3doxov49]
- added “new ad period” options in admin settings (show a nifty little new icon if an ad is less than “x” days old)[/*:m:3doxov49]
- reporting form for listings (user moderation)[/*:m:3doxov49]
- Live search filter on dashboard to search through posters listings quickly[/*:m:3doxov49]
- added thumbnails, total views #, and quick renew link to dashboard listings[/*:m:3doxov49]
- recently viewed listings in dashboard sidebar[/*:m:3doxov49]
- added ability to save (circle) favorite listings to your dashboard to view later[/*:m:3doxov49]
- lots more...don't wanna bore you or make this a novel[/*:m:3doxov49]
