Lucky enough to have own server under my control I actually preferred the hyper cache plugin over the w3, so I am using that. Also concerned about the amount of CSS3 goodness I introduced into my theme. So using Modernizr, which is excellent alternative to the slightly more unreliable area of browser detection - I would recommend it!

Not quite sure why referring to favicon? You mean on my test site? No need yet - this whole claisspress release drama has meant i took on a different solution for project. But still planning to use classipress for something else.
