My Vantage website

Please take a look at my online business directory. Its been a year now since I have been using Vantage. Questions and comments are welcome.

Looks good. But a few problems,

1) I noticed is when on the home page and I put my mouse pointer over the Directory tab the featured ribbon from the slider below lays on top/ bleeds through the drop down menu.

2) When I click on the write a review tab I get a "500 Internal Server Error"

3) When I click on the blog tab or any of the sub tabs I get a blank page except for the "Press Release" page and there the picture is not showing but everything else is fine.

4) Home link in footer goes to a page that doesn't look like the home page the top menu does, different pages?

5) Only Home and events links in footer go to pages, rest of footer links go to blank pages.

I like the way you have the create listing/create event tabs below the Advertise tab, I'm going to copy that. I'm also going to put a home tab like you have in top menu. How long has your site been up? Have you sold any listings? Are you contacting businesses or are you letting them come to you? Good luck and don't give up.

Advertise Tab - In your site admin go to Appearance then Menu. Select the Pages you wish to add ( Create Listing, Create Menu) - Add Menu.
Under Menu Structure, drag the newly added menus (create listing, create event) to directly beneath the Advertise Menu (or whatever menu you are using)
You want it to be a bit offline from the Menu above. By doing that you create a sub menu.menu1.pngmenu2.png

1)Fixed partially. I reduced the number of sub-menus to 0. I will have to look into how to have it fully corrected.
2)Write a review runs off a plugin called Vantage Reviewer by jobthemes. Waiting on developer to launch an updated version that will work with my php version.
3)Was trying to create some new templates and may have messed up my page.php (Time to get a professional involved

I started using Vantage 1 year ago, Before that I used a free directory theme. I have sold some listings but it takes time. Right now I am more focus on functionality an hoping to build seo content. The end goal is t rely more on affiliate/google advertising.
I really appreciate your feedback. Thanks to you I went and corrected stuff that I neglected for a while. I will sure to check out your site as well

Thanks, I actually stumbled upon the answer playing around with things. I've never used wordpress or themes before so I have a temp site setup to play around with and learn. Been at it for about a month and having a lot of fun learning and getting things to look and work the way I want. Cheers.

@tallis1970 - How did you get your featured listings to appear like you have it with tabs for featured, reviews and new ? I love the way that looks!

I use a plugin called Home Control for Vantage. It can be found in the App Themes marketplace.

I really like the way your site looks. The only thing you might want to fix is the drop down menu item under Advertise -> Create a listing - this leads to "page not found".
