Making first ad image the featured image for social shares
Hey Sarah,
Maybe you will be able to help me with this, not sure if it is a theme or child theme issue. I use SNAP (Social Network Auto Poster) to easily share ads (with ad image) on my social pages. It works great but it will only post the last image for the ad page, rather then the first image. The first image should be the featured image, not the last, and I really need the first/featured image to show inorder for it to work for me. Even though I have the premium version of this plugin, support is poor and all they will tell me is that it is a theme/childtheme issue and I need to fix my og tags.
Any idea on this? I notice in the Wrapper.php file there are some Facebook OG tags. Anyway to to define the first image as the featured image with OG tags for ad pages?
The plugin also gives the options to set Alternative featured image location (see attachment) but not sure if there is anything I could put there or not.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated, I have been trying to solve this one for a month now. Thank you!
