Unhappy Editing PHP files through dashboard does not work.

Maybe it's just me but when I go to edit my .php files in through the dashboard area the changes I make do nothing. I deleted all of the coding completely from the footer.php just to see if anything would happen, I saved the changes then loaded the site in a browser I never use to check and see if there were any changes and nothing happened.

The only way I can edit the php files is by opening the files in dreamweaver then uploading them via FTP.

I'm thinking it's something with the theme and the newer version of WP that's out.

    Here is what I'm running:

    ClassiPress 2.9.2

    Wordpress Version 2.8.6

This should work with the theme fine ive had to do it a number of timers helping people on here with their sites. Your host may not be letting the files be edited or the file permissions may be wrong.
