    Image display issues

I'm seeing a strange issue in the images that are uploaded to posts:

-If you click on the picture in the post before it has a chance to render the little thumbnail of it it opens it into the browser in complete full size instead of the fancy picture viewer. This ONLY happens the first time that you load the post page. Once the little thumbnail has been generated it then opens into the fancy picture viewer every time.

-In IE there is a little red X on the close button of a displayed picture (and in Safari it displays as a "?"). It does not seem to harm anything, other than it looks bad. Clicking on it still closes the picture. It’s is not present in Mozilla.

    Thanks,
    Robert

It sounds like your site is loading slowly and the lightbox javascript for the images isn't rendering quickly enough. The reason it's working after the first time is b/c your browser now has it cached.

The little red X in IE usually means a broken image. Could you post the url you are having trouble with? I'll take a look.

    Hi David,

Absolutely - that'd be very helpful.

I see the little "Red X" issue on the Close button of any picture in any ad I have posted when viewing in IE. In Safari this appears as a little "?". Mozilla has no problem at all (I don't see anything other than the work 'Close'.

    Thanks!

p.s. In light of the new version of Classipress coming out soon....we've decided to upgrade to it before going live with our site as soon as it's made available. Would this issue be fixed by the upgrade?
