images uploaded shows with zero kb

    Hello all!
I'm using classipress 2.0.7 version and everything was ok untill some days ago.
What happened is that the images that users upload to the classifieds appear with 0kb (zero) in the server images folder and in the ad they simply appear with a link and not a thumbnail since it's an image with zero kb...
Can you help me with this please?
I verified the folder and set all the permissions but it's not working yet.
    Thanks and cheers.

If it's been working fine for a long time and then suddenly a problem pops up, it's unlikely to be a classipress problem. Have you modified the code at all recently? My guess is it's something to do with your host provider. Here's what I think it could be:

    1) A change with your host provider that is causing images from being uploaded correctly
    2) You are out of disk space with your host

I'd contact them and see if they can troubleshoot the issue. Since classipress has been working fine up until recently, chances are it's not the classipress code.

    Good luck!

I'm having image issues as well. Just got ClassiPress on Apr 25th, but haven't had time to play with it until recently. I posted my first ad, and it doesn't show the image, even though the Show Picture on Front Page is set to YES. I read below that you think it may be a hosting issue. I still have lots of space with my host, so in my case, this is not the issue. Please advise.

    Thanks for all your assistance.

Sue, did you read the included "README-FIRST.txt" doc? You need to setup a folder and some permissions first before the image uploading will work properly.

Nope... I have worked with WordPress for such a long time now, it seems, that I skimmed over the document you mentioned, but didn't notice this line:

    4. Create a new directory called "classipress" on your server in /wp-content/uploads/ . CHMOD it to 777 so it's fully writable. This is where your customer uploaded images will go.

Thanks for mentioning it...I don't know what CHMOD means, so if you could clarify, I could take care of this right away.

    Thanks for all your assistance.
