Re: No thumbnail of images on home page and ad page
Hey guys. I got a pm asking me to take a look at this post since this seems to be a major issue. After reading through the comments i would liek to say one thing before i begin. Your complaints at the end about getting no support is not true. There has been Mods on here and even the owner of Classipress himself has been here with advice and tried to help you, that is called support. Im sorry we have not yet been able to get this issue fixed but not being able to get it fixed after trying, and getting no support is two different things. Now... that i have said that, lets kick back and see whats going on.
The first think i notice when going to your site (.pimpyournetwork.com) is that the images are trying to upload. You will notice that the thumbnail placeholder isnt popping up on the home page, so the upload is registering and trying to halfway work, this... is a good thing.
I am also sure that your host said that everything was fine on their end... why would they say any different?
Another thing i notice is the ads on the single.php page are not showing up also. Im not sure how you have this set up but more info would be great.
Seems that for some reason PThumb.php and IMG_Resize.php aren't wanting tow work.
Can you make me a test site on your server? Ill have a look and even if i have to integrate a different auto thumb script ill get it working for you. But i cant fix it on my side because i cant re produce the issue for myself.
Please guys try to understand we are here because we are customers like you. We dont get paid for being here, though i wish i did (*wink @ Dave). I go to work everyday, work full time and them come home and be a single parent to a 20 month old child, we are just here on our free time supporting something we like. Not everyone here can just fix everything on demand.
Now get back to me and lets get this fixed.
