First see my comment just above and see if this applies to you at all. If it doesn't, them ill need a admin account on your site and ftp access. 3 sites have been fixed already today and all 3 had the same issue above with the way the theme folder was uploaded.

Alrighty, since my link is the correct version (wp-content/themes/classipress) I have made you both an ftp account and an admin account for PimpYourNetwork.com.

How shall I give you this information?

The link to your theme should be:
    wp-content/themes/classipress

    And NOT:
    wp-content/themes/classipress-2.9.2/classipress

Change that and your thumbnails will work i promise
    Hi All,

Thankd for the help, I appreciate it. I haven't installed the theme wrong, I only uploaded the classipress folder inside classipress-2.9.2. Stop not showing up. I think it still could be something to do with server settings with the hosts we are using, though I don't know much!

Re: No thumbnail of images on home page and ad page

    Hi

I would need your help here. My frontpage thumbnails seems not working...I have tried many ways to resolve the issues. i have ensure that all my folders are in the right path but the thumbnails are not showing.

I am suspecting the Img_resize.php is not working.
    $image_url = "../../../../wp-content/uploads/classipress/".$_GET["url"];

can anyone probe into my problem?

Same here. Just bought this theme, It worked fine initially loaded tons of classifieds but gradually all thumbnail images start disappearing. And now not even post image is showing when I upload a new classified. Nothing changed, the only rational I can think of something from the host has changed that conflicting with this theme or else why would stop working without any change from my part.

Re: No thumbnail of images on home page and ad page

I'm glad my problem fixed by my host provider.

Here is there response, hope it might help yours:

It looks like SuPHP was installed I am unsure if this was recent or not but the files/folders along the path to the script that loads your thumb had the wrong permissions set and SuPHP was very unhappy.

The following files were set to 777. I have changed them and your thumbs now work on that page.

    timthumb.php to 644
    scripts/ to 755
    classipress/ to 755

Man, in all my webmaster career i had never been so frustrated. Learn something new everyday.

Im sure this is just about everyones issue is the host, other than the people that uploaded the theme wrong

Re: No thumbnail of images on home page and ad page

    Hi All

Finally, everything was working fine with thumnail and images but from some reason it stopped working... I don't think I changed anything on server or script itself so I'm getting mad. I did new, fresh install again an now I don't see any images uploaded... What kind of issue could be if this is my hosting provider change?

    regards,
    Jamai

Re: No thumbnail of images on home page and ad page

Hi - I also have this problem. Theme installed exactly as specified (ie just the classipress folder).

I have emailed my host and am waiting to hear. I saw pargars post but I don't have a file called timthumb so am unsure as to what this refers to. Also, does anyone know if the numbers next to the files in pergars post are what they should be (ie not 777) or what they were?

    Thanks
    Jenny

Re: No thumbnail of images on home page and ad page

Is there anymore info on this?

I have emailed my host and they have asked me to contact you guys to advise them what the settings should be. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place here.

Classipress is no good to me unless it works.... Any help would be massively appreciated from anyone.

    Thanks
