Adding a blog...

Hi,

I would like to add a blog to my directory however I have a couple of questions which hopefullly someone can answer:

1. Can I add a search form to the blog in the sidebar which will only search blog posts?
2. Can I add items to the blog sidebar to show categories, recent posts, recent comments etc?
3. Can I change the blog so that it displays a blog summary rather than the full content of each post?
