Directory child theme categories showing "page not found"

I bought the Directory child theme for vantage. After creating my categories and also some listings, when i click on the categories on the home page, it says "page not found'. From the home page, when i click on a category, it says "page not found" but it shows the number of listings in the category. How do i fix this problem. Thank you.
