Edit/save listing error - help!

I posted this in the problems forum but suspect this may be an issue with my child theme so posting it here.

I just updated to Vantage 1.1.3 (using wp 3.4.2) and am having a problem with editing a listing. This is a listing that I created/own as admin. When I click on the "edit listing" from the listing page, and make any change and hit "Save changes", it is treating it like a new listing and I get an error saying no category was chosen and all the images are gone although the other text remains. If I back out of it it doesn't seem to actually save any changes or lose anything. I tried a new listing and its doing the same thing.

I'm getting an error saying "No category was submitted" even though I select a category. This has been working fine for the last few months while I've been developing the site. The only thing I've added recently is Wunderslider, and did the Vantage upgrade. I tried deactivating wunderslider and no change.

Any ideas based on the error message?
