Help Needed with image proportion and displaying correctly !! please :)

Hi All,

first time post and help needed please !

is there a fix for scaling or the proportion of images that are uploaded ? when i upload an image if it isn't the correct dimensions the image is stretched or scaled incorrectly !

i would presume there is an automatic fix that enables any uploaded image to be correctly viewed !
