Hide Form Fields On Create A Listing

I am looking for a way to hide the default form fields on the create a listing page and to only show my custom form fields. I only need to hide them for a certain category. I tried using an If statement but I had no luck with my logic. Does any know how this can be done or provide an if statement that works? Thanks
