Large Map Question

Is AppThemes looking at allowing we users to choose the pins used for Listings and Events? There are a half dozen colors in the images folder but no way to call to them or set them currently.

Also has anyone sorted out seeing the zoom level of the large map? I am getting the farthest out zoom and it have the pins repeated 3 times. I think that a max zoom out level should be set to about the equivalent of one revolution of the globe.
