Remove Comment Bubble and Count

I'm having trouble finding the code to remove comment count and comment bubbles from Vantage posts. I found a few hints from other forums on appthemes, but they have not worked because I don't see an exact match for the suggested lines of code to remove, nor did adding a line of code to my style.css (hiding comment bubble) work. I do see comment-count and comment-bubble code in my style.css, but when I remove those setions, it simply removes the bubble image and then shifts the "0" or "#) to the left -- the count still shows. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
