Roll over hover social icons on listings

I like to be able to disable the hover effect social icons that appear on a listing on rolling over with the curser.

It gives icons for FB Twitter and G+ even if in the directory settings you don't have those set up!!!!!! which is a bit pointless. It assumes that you are going to have this if they are active or not. I can't see that I have a need for that feature.

I've been told that these are core built in. Kinda dumb to have them active when not being used - surely you should at least restrict it to any social networks a user has set up?
