    Static Front Page

    Hi, I have coded up a static front page with I require to sit at my home page.

    I have added a new page in Wordpress, uploaded the custom page template file and selected it from the 'Template' drop-down whilst editing the page.

    I then set this page as as the front page in Reading Settings of Wordpress.

    When i view the site, it's just pulling in the default theme page and putting my custom HTML into the body of the theme page. However I need just my HTML to display as the full page.

    Any help woud be great? thanks
