is there a way to remove the location search "Near" field at the top?

I'm building a staff/school directory for a school district. All the campuses are in the same general area, so there is zero need to search via location this way. I'd like to remove that search field and wording.

Additionally, I'd like to remove the wording "(e.g. restaurant, web designer, florist)" next to "search for."
