Two fixes needed

There are two gray stripes I want to change to the same color as the rest of the background.
I've heave searched up and down in the css files for this to no avail. What line if affecting these two areas.
Second issue is when someone looms at the directory pages in mobile, they see one letter per line, so basically unreadable.
Maybe a plugin is interfering?
