Wishlist for next Vantage release

Great theme, but there is plenty of room for improvement. Honestly, these ideas aren't crazy, but building on improving the existing setup.

- Allow the blog page's right column to be customizable (to make it blog specific, with the ability to add widgets as needed) E.g. there's no way presently to show the blog tags/categories
- Include blog posts and blog comments on the user dashboard so that when someone clicks on the author name in a blog, they can see what other blog posts they have published.
- Allow each page to have text added on it (e.g. login, register, etc)
- Include the ability to have a hero slider on the home page (an alternative to the map).
- Use consistent labeling/vernacular across the theme.
- Allow editable copy for automated emails, and what the end-users sees. E.g. new user registered, purchase thanks, etc

etc, etc

Also, i'd like to see some better designed child themes. The design for vantage is very generic, and there really aren't the options available to change the design much. E.g. I'd like to see a child theme that makes it look more grungy/distressed rather than slick looking. That would really help sell the theme overall -- demonstrating it's potential beyond mere functionality. Thanks!
