Problem with plugin on child theme

I am using a child theme on topbusinesses.co.uk and I am having some difficulties with this plugin in regard to the search box.

As you can see the search for box does not line up properly and is the wrong size, I have tried editing various things in the plugin's css style sheet and managed to get the boxes lined up and working fine on my laptop but when testing on mobile devices and tablets the boxes were once again the wrong size.

I have reinstalled the plugin so you can see the problem.
