is back-end access (to authors) dangerous for a wp website ?

    Hi guys
I just wanna make sub-domain blog and let users (authors) submit new posts . now I have a question in mind . is it dangerous if I (as admin) let users (authors) post from wordpress back-end (admin panel) ?

    if so :
    how is it dangerous ?
is there any secure way to do it ?

    Thanx
