First Version of Vantage - No Events?

Per David's post, Vantage Business Directory Theme Preview - I thought we would be seeing Local Search, Community, and Events when it was released.

Question: If Events are not going to be implemented in v1.0, when can we reasonably expect them to be implemented?

Vantage provides online local search capabilities for site visitors. Typically a visitor will search for a specific thing (i.e. a sandwich shop) and the location (i.e. a specific address, city, state, or zip code). This is all done using the Google Maps API and leveraging geo coordinates since they are the most accurate measure of distance.

Where does it say that Events will not be implemented? Link please...

Well, the first version of Vantage will not include events but we will absolutely add it in a later version.
