How to create child theme ?

I have gone through some article and found a plugin called One-Click Child Theme .Can i really create a child theme using plugin

I am using CP theme apptheme and I get updates to my theme minimum twice in a year so if I update my parent theme do i need to do change any changes in child theme as well .

Child themes are recommended because they allow you to update the parent theme without losing any mods you made.When you do update the parent theme the child themes files remain the same.

Then how it affect to child theme if we update parent theme

There is no effect on the child theme files when you update your parent.All the code changes you make should be in your child theme.

Let me be more clear,some of my requirements are can be done by plugins but some or done by only child theme so i am not good in coding and do not have more bucks to spend for customization for child theme which will full fill all my requirements .
Below are my requirements
Display ads in Grid Mode
Payment gate to accept debit and credit cards
Featured ads on top always for particular categories with tag in search result also
above work can be done by plugins as well or i need child theme .

You will have to modify the code for that.There will be a theme in the MarketPlace soon that you can buy.

Generally modification questions are posted in the Mods and Tutorials forum, where other members can help you or you can search for similar mods presented by the community.

But why do not you give this features in coming updates as you know this all are important and latest .
