    Question about CDN storage

    Hi,

I am looking into cdn storage but this part is doing me head in.

I am looking at amazon s3 cloudfront and am testing the online calculator they have.

My question is - How can I determine exactly what my monthly data transfer out is going to be before I explore the possibility of using them.

    Data Transfer Out:
    Monthly Volume:
    Requests:
    Average Object Size: KB
    Type of Requests:
    HTTP
    HTTPS
    Invalidation Requests: Requests
    Edge Location Traffic Distribution:
    United States %
    Europe %
Hong Kong, Korea, and Singapore %
    Australia %
    Japan %
    South America %

This is the form which estimates your monthly cost.

I have no idea what this means to be honest.

Hence how do I find out prior to filling these fields in?

Is there anywhere I can look at some figures to help establish what I need to input from my server?

This is the only thing I can find in my account panel.

    Traffic Administration

Find out the amount traffic used this month (running results shown from the day before, ending at midnight) and how much is left in your monthly allowance.

    Traffic Overview
Amount of traffic used : 2,091.46 MB
    Total traffic : unlimited
    Remaining traffic : unlimited

    Regards

I am also looking into cdn storage! And I have some questions as well. Besides the Amazon Calculator questions, which plugin are you going to use to put things working?

    Sorry for the late reply.

I haven't used any plugins yet - I am playing with my .htaccess file and php.ini to try and speed things up a touch.

I'm going to get the site running properly first before I explore the cdn storage route but It would be good to have a separate forum section for this type of thing.

What about you - how are you getting on with site optimisation?

Well, I'm planning to do that move soon, since I'm reaching 30% of disk capacity. In the moment all I have is this information: http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/q...-local-storage

    This plugin seems to work:
