I'm like a kid in a sweetie shop tonight because I'm away on holiday this weekend, so it's effectively just one more sleep before Vantage arrives.

Why all the excitement for a beta version? seriously? I don't plan on buying it until it is at least 3 versions after launch. I mean unless you all run amateur sites you should know in real world production environments no one runs beta versions of software. These forums will be swamped with 100s of messages complaining how Vantage is broken, not working right and so on. All you have to do is wait until the developers FINISH IT and squash most of the bugs and release stable versions.

You're probably right

No feature list, no screenshots, no, well, nothing, on the last business day before the big event.

It's all coming on Monday though....

Did you read the status page? in case you missed it here it is: "We are currently testing Vantage internally. Once we complete internal testing, Vantage will be released to Club members and a select group of beta testers. The list for beta testers is closed."

So the answer is yes, after 2 years of development the beta version will be released to Club Members and select group of beta testers. That is what the above says.

Today will be a fun day in these forums. I'm just waiting to see tons of posts from users screaming "It is 12:01am on 3/5/2012 WHERE IS VANTAGE? You promised, you promised, you promised Vantage will be out by 3/5 and it is one minute past midnight on 3/5 and it is not released, where is it? we want it badly, where is it. Give us Vantage right now. My whole entire life/business/career depends on Vantage, I have 14 domain names registered just waiting for Vantage, you must release it in the next 5 seconds. Please.

I know, it is hilarious! What is even funnier is all of those "unregistered" users making the most noise about Vantage, just take a peek in the Pre-Sales forum; it is post after post after post. Yawn....

Vantage will be released when it is ready. If you can't wait hire your own developer.
