    Wordpress for dummies...where?

    I have been wanting to learn programming and comprehension of wordpress programming for along time. Can someone point me in the right direction on learning it from the ground up and maybe with a flare for template customization not as much as add-ons etc.

    I am open to ideas, etc....hell iw ould even taker a class if I knew it would work :P
