Event and Calendar plugins

I'm not having great luck with any event management or event calendar plugins --either they don't work with the latest version of Wordpress, or they are not integrating very nicely with the Classipress theme. Since I have at least three event-focused sites tha I want to use Classipress with, if there is anyone with some insights on this, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

I'm looking for the same thing. The default wordpress calendar links to posts for the day they were created, but I need to find a way to link it to the custom field that I have set for the event date.
Can anyone help with this?

I am working on integrating an availability calendar. These guys have a lot of products. Maybe there is something that will work for you. They can customize.

I would love it if we could customize the post date to be an Event date field that would link to the default wordpress calendar
