Importing RSS similar to indeed
Hi folks,
for the Alumni association of my university I am looking for a way to import more jobs then the ones available via indeed. I am not sure if I would need a plugin for this or if I could just modify jobroller or if it could be an option for a future version of jobroller (although I need it NOW
)
Any idea on how to modify jobroller to parse at least the rss feeds of the offers of the below mentioned jobplatforms ones into the jobroller database and to display and make them searchable below the offers which are really from jobroller in the database, similar to the "sponsored jobs" by indeed. Ideally, it should be as general as possible and allow to parse any job rss or xml feed. The parsed positions should however include the link to the original offers to avoid copyright issues and to show only a preview of the rss info in the website.

Any ideas on how to do this? I have basic php knowledge, but this might go over it...
