Problems with Text edit

The new Version has plenty of problems with text edits in the description field.
If you use the standard text edits, it' s fine, but if you start changing the design in another editor and paste and copy it inside the description field, it changes all the homepage !
Is there a solution ?
It was not like that with the previous version ?

So you are editing the files offline with a text editor.

no, with a plugin:

Is there any one having the same problems ?
Is there any other editor plugin that works with that version ?

I have not used the plugin perhaps other users can share their input if they used it too.
