Replacement for wp-print and wp-email

As we discovered with the release of ClassiPress 3.0.5, the wp-print and wp-email plugins are no longer compatible with the theme, leaving no current options for these functions in the ads.

The team are still looking at a solution for this, but in the meantime if these functions are important to you, you could try the Sociable for WordPress 3.0 plugin, which actually I personally use in place of Sexybookmarks anyway.. This itself has print and email icons which work fine.

The email option does not work for me (without any other plugins). And, if I have Contact Form 7, then printing does not work....If anyone has any additional solutions please post!! Thanks!

I recommend plugin Sharethis by Manu Mukerji to replace wp-email and on the same time you fix social bookmarks issue on sociabel & sexybookmarks which not functioning on CP 3.0.5

To replace wp-print I recommend prlugin "PDF & Print Button Joliprint" by joliprint

Both plugins work nicely on CP 3.0.5.3, so far so good.

For some reason Sharethis worked great at first on my site (3.0.5.3) but then disappeared from all my posts and pages about an hour later. Instead I now have an extra 300px high grey footer. If I deactivate the plugin the footer goes. Re-activation didn't help bring back the buttons. It did look excellent at first, shame it messed up.

As for Joliprint, well, I couldn't get that to do anything. It looks nice at the foot of my page but clicking it did absolutely nothing.

My initial thoughts are I might have another plugin activated that conflict with these so I'll let you know if this is the case.

Looks very smart with custom image and text label too. Highly delighted. Thanks for the heads-up.

I found another plugin that seems to be very useful for anyone who wants to put "print" and "email" in the theme ClassiPress.

owh, just noticed, under profile settings, it's making a lot of useless checkboxes "Proofreading"
did you find a way to disable that?
