Hi everyone,

I developed a plugin to send weekly reports to the users with the number of visits.
The email content is completely customizable (subject, header, footer and labels) and has some macro replacing too.

The body will have a table with ad title, number of visits in the last 7 days, total visits, and a link to edit the ad.

It also adds campaign tracking codes, to allow you to track the visits in google analytics.

I'm selling this for 25 Euro.

I've been using it on my classifieds website for a couple of months. It always brings a lot of visits back (and some new ads).

This plugin only works if you know how to set up cron jobs. It will not work on its own. This means you will never see it work, unless you know how to do this. I can't even test it. Also there is no method to determine what day of the week you want the emails to be sent. How?

The Weekly Ad Stats Plugin allows you to have full control when sending emails to your customers. All you have to do is insert this url in your browser and make a bookmark for it. Whenever you want to send out your Weekly Stats to your customers, just use the same link and the Weekly Ad Stats Plugin will do the rest!

For security reasons,to make sure no one else can invoke the Weekly Ad Stat Script on your website, just rename the newsletter.php file to any-thing-you-want.php and use this new name in your browser url. Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-content.../xyz5289hg.php.

Include a blank index.php file in our plugin folder to prevent anyone from browsing your directory and finding out what you have named this file. You can copy this one from the CP /includes folder. Or use a text file and enter this in it:

Then name this file index.php and uplaod to the Weekly Ad Stats Directory on your site.

You will know the Weekly Ad Stats Plugin works, because after Weekly Ad Stats has run, you will see the following message in your browser: (Example of a real-time run) "your-customers-email-address@your-webiste.com Done (1 emails)."

Weekly Ad Stats tells you who received your email and how many emails were sent in total. Now how easy is that?!
