As I mentioned earlier, you have to have patience. Things with Google is not so. You Have to Have patience and wait for Googlebot to update the content on your site.

Is there anyway we could make the directions on how to best conifgure the Yoast SEO plugin a sticky?

Possibly include a download for the settings (I know that yoast allows exporting settings and if its set to the general terms (for example %postname%) it'll be easy)??

I second this. I've done some research but the settings I had set up were causing some problems with page navi as well as permalinks.

I posted at the beginning of this discussion a few settings for the plugin, but I've done many changes and it becomes very difficult to have a single standard configuration. Each wants the site configured in a different way and therefore I think the best thing to do is visit the site developer and search plugin.

I've looked at the site's info - and while helpful I think it would also really help to know some configurations that would apply to classipress specifically (such as which boxes to check for the sitemap.xml) and so on.

Even a general config file with the note that says "this config file is for the _______ type of configuration (for example listing name | site name) would really be helpful...and also time saving from reading the the entire thread...

I followed the instructions given to a "T" and here are the things I'm seeing on my site. With all the settings set up according both what you had as well as following Yoast instructions.
1. Page navigation doesn't work click on page 2 front page it goes back to the front page
2. Posting and editing ads brings up an error no permission etc.

Any ideas whats going on? I disabled it for now.
