Email this instead of contact

Hi guys!

Is there any simple way to include an email and a name field on the contact tab (left sidebar) so that the post can be forwarded to anyone instead of sending it to the one who posted the ads!

I know its already there just below the post using the wpemail plugin - EMAIL THIS , i just want the same featured appear on the sidebar TAB-BAR under contact tab!

You can simply copy the function of the wp email plugin and put it on the side bar tabs.

Can you please elaborate more ,, i tried playing with the plugin files and function but i m not able to ...
A clear solution to this will be very thankful to you guys ...

You can play with this code <?php if(function_exists('wp_email')) { email_link(); } ?> but you really need to have some knowledge on php programming to call on the email form. Likewise, you need to format the sidebar tabs through css if you want to have the email form appear there too.

If you just need the "email this post" link, simply try copying the above code somewhere in the sidebar tabs.

Actually i mtrying to call the email form itself. I want the form to display on the sidebar only when the contact/email (whatever ) is click .. i want the forms to appear with all the details as in it appear when u click the email this post link just below every ads post!

You can check the codes at the theme-emails.php which I think you can use at the sidebar. You just need look for the trigger in the plugin's code so that it will call on your new form at the sidebar tabs.

I tried .. but couldnt figure out. My knowledge in php is also limited !
