This is Classipress little modified by me (thank you to all who help in this forum).
I know that this forum does not provide support for the modification, but I'm looking for the person, who could help me even in some cases - for money.

Most of us use Classipress because we want to earn. So I want to pay for help. I think it is fair. But the truth is that most of us do not have a large budget at the start.. So I'm very happy if you can help me!
(But remember, you can always write me the priv, it would be paid)

What do I need? The most important now:

1. I need block ads in slider and homepage from selected categories (adult categories)

2. View Counter not working (from release 3.1.7)

I have some other problems, but these are most important.

The point 2 is SOLVED. After disable WP-UserOnline plugin view counter working properly.
Now, I need help with block ads from selected categiries in slider. Please help.

Point 1 is partly SOLVED. I used plugin Simply Exclude and block adult categories in Archives, Feeds, Home Page and Searches. But it not working in slider. I still need help.

PS. Thread should be titled: Hide categories from slider or Exclude categories from slider.

There is no help for the money, no help for free. Admin, close this thread please or remove it as a whole.

in your child theme you should have a featured.php file.

Please find this code in the featured.php file

And replace it with this code :


the additional 'cat=-1,-2,-3' is telling the system that you don't want posts from categories 1,2 and 3. Just put the ID of your adult categorie(s).

I have not tested this code, but want that you go and test this and please, tell if it has worked

I tried put now 'cat=-102' (102 it is my adult ID category). I tried also before:

With enabled and disabled Simply Exclude plugin. Nothing changed.

I now, it is very simple. I probably do a stupid mistake somewhere.
Could someone give me a tested solution? Please and thanks.
