Pay to Fix Classipress 'Advance/Refine Search'

I'm currently looking for someone to fix the Classipress 3.1.8 'Advance/Refine Search' sidebar. I have several test ads on the site and tested the refine search to narrow the search to let's say #bedrooms, #bathrooms, etc. and the search comes up empty. I have included these search items on the 'Form Layout'.

The minimum and maximum price slider doesn't work correctly neither.

This is perhaps one of the biggest assets of any classified website that allows the users to narrow their search to specific information they are looking for.

I need this to be fixed and work flawlessly as it was intended to work.

We already bought it to find out that it's useless for what we need.

Ruben's advance search plugin is only for general stuff that's related to all categories, where as the refine search for classipress, utilizes forms for different categories that would require different information.

Example: We want to refine autos with cylinders, drivetrain, etc. Real estate we would refine by bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.

Rubens plugin can't do that and it would be good for sites that list only one kind of item such as Real Estate sites, Automotive sites and so on. Then his Advance search would be ideal for those type of sites.

It looks like I am going to have to pay someone to fix the problem.

Okay, here is a partial fix.

We updated with the 3.1.9 refine search. However, the price slider doesn't work correctly. We have two ads: one at 120,000 and the other at 148,000. Move the price slider to say 123,316 at maximum and 0 as minimum. It shows both ads. It should only show one ad.

We will pay someone to change the price slider on our site to minimum text box and a maximum text box that actually works the way it's suppose to.

Currently this is the only thing keeping us from going live.

The other problems are not currently essential to go live.

We paid someone to fix the problem and it's working good now.

But i guess you are not willed to share your solution? Just asking

First, the slider was removed all together, very hard to use accurately. There are two input boxes: one for min price and the other for max price. Way easier to use!!!

Secondly, the current theme-refine.php script your using to search 'City' is via google maps. It is searching google maps and not your database for cp_city. That was the biggest problem because it would show no results for the 'City' you chose even if it has ads for that city.

Now, we did overlook one thing about the refine search. We forgot about the comma problem and if you don't put a comma in the thousands place, it doesn't get accurate results.

So, until we pay for that fix, I won't release the fix because I want everyone to have a fully functional fix!!! I don't want to give you something that works half fast because that's not the way we do business.

After much testing, come to find out that the maximum pricing is rounding off prices. So, if a price is 14,499 and we have a max price of 14,000 it will show that add for 14,499 in the refine search, which it shouldn't. I believe it is configured to round of below the next highest number, however, this is not confirmed yet. Once these two are fixed, we will share!
