Search enhancements needed

We need the search modified on our classipress installation to search for entire words. So, searching for STI should not bring up words that have "sti" in them, such as "listing" or "question".

Second, the zip code feature does not appear to consistently work, returning results that are clearly not within the specified parameters.

Finally, the advanced search features do not show up when searching all categories -- only when you select a specific subcategory. We would like those filtering options to always show when a search is performed.

I would like an estimate of the time/cost involved to have one of you help us fix this. Our site is http://utahgunexchange.com

but, it will works only as widget you can't insert in to any post/page currently.

Thanks. Unfortunately that's not what we need. Looking for a developer to spend a few hours improving the code to get us to where we want to be on our site. Anybody interested?
