The search plugin has Keyword,Category,Street,City,Tag are Price. Those are basic fields. i am asking if i create a custom field like "model type" and thats a drop down, will that drop down be displayed in search so that the user can simply select the drop down and make a search?

The plugin it is COMPLETELY FLEXIBLE... this means if you create a custom field like "model type" you can use it in your search form too.
The basic idea it is ALL custom fields you create on your site will be available to build your search form with.

I bought your Advance Search. It's very limited to basic searches across all categories. You can not include 'Form Layouts' for different categories because automobiles don't have the same search requests for let's say houses. Houses ---- #Bedrooms, #Bathrooms, etc. Automobiles ---- #Cylinders, #Doors, 2wd or 4wd, etc. I can only use basic information that is common across all categories (i.e. Price, City, State, etc.).

I don't use it because of these limitations. I am looking to pay someone to fix the current 'Advance/Refine Search' that comes with Classipress 3.1.8. It doesn't work correctly!!
