Too much spam from abroad? Restrict uploading ads to countries of your choice!

I'm sure that a lot of you got the same problem with spam and useless postings from abroad, as this is a general problem for free classifieds websites.

I created a modification to get rid of that annoying spam. So what does my modification (including a plugin) do?

You choose the countries that are allowed to post ads on your site. All other countries can use and see everything on your site, but they can not post an ad! You can even let them register, but they still can not post ads. Or you decide that they can not even register. If they click on a area or button that you restrict, they will get something like:

But not only this, let's turn it around: You can allow all countries to use your site, but disallow one or more specific countries. That means, you can ban countries of your choice to do something.

You wan't more? How about (just a sample): Visitors from US, England, Germany can see header logo "A" while visitors from the rest of the world see header logo "B"

I'm doing this Modification for my own site because i want a local classifieds website. But if i see that some of you are interested, i will sell it for a small amount.

I'm still testing the mod to get it complete. But maybe you like to see it in action: www.cytaweb.com/magenta If you are not located in Cyprus and try to click on "Post an Ad" : see what you get. At the moment i just implemented this to "Post an Ad"

Sounds like a very novel idea, since almost all the classifieds website are restricted to one country or even a smaller geographical region, you mod would an excellent add-on!! I think my client at nigeriads.com.ng would be very interested in this and I am sure many others will too!

I'm in!! To have control like that would be great Right now I use reCapcha (for the spam bots, which does work great, but may put off potential customers) and User Locker plugin to control the human spammers.

My biggest problem is that i don't like reCaptcha, not when i visit a site and not on my own site. Sometimes they are just to hard to read as a human. And when it says two times that my insert was wrong, i'm almost ready to leave that website. That's the main reason for me to find other solutions.

This Plugin here is almost ready. I just need to pack it and write a description for installation. And here comes my next problem. My english is **** and gives me a headache to write something that can be understood.

Maybe i'll do a video tutorial *lol*
