Applying 'Google Maps' feature on a Wordpress Theme
Hi, Wordpress Ninjas ..
Newbie here,
Any information or references on how to implement Google Maps on Wordpress ?
I have tried google it.. but everything is blurry for me,
So where should I start to learn, any references or external links maybe?

Im not sure how well this plugin works, Ive tried it but it seems to be clashing with the google maps pre-installed with CP, so Im not getting anything.
But you could just simply embed the link text that maps.google.com offers on their map pages as an alternative.
I suggest GeoMashup by CyberHobo. I have been using it on other sites for about three years and have been very happy with it. The code is super clean, well documented and the interface is user friendly. Dylan (CyberHobo) is very accessible, too.
Is there a plugin that allows text on a page to link to and display a pin point on a Google map?
Specifically, I'm looking for a Wordpress plugin so that when a user clicks a word in my blog, a map on the side would dynamically display where in the world I'm talking about. As a bonus, the plugin would dynamically display a gallery of photos also associated with that location. An even bigger bonus would be if the map could display a "journey" line that would connect the points. Thanks!wordpress designer
I have also tried Google Maps - Wordpress plugin. Everything went smoothly at first, but after a few hours it collapse. I don't know what seems to be the problem. I will try to remove it and install it again. See how it works.
Thanks for sharing, roaddog. I will try GeoMashup later.
