Create"All"category

HI all,
I am trying to figure out how to create an "All" category so that a person can browse through all the ads. Does anyone have an ideas, directions or suggestions. Thanks

"all" category sounds to me like the home of your website.
I do not find any function to have a category to show the whole content instead of the home page.
If you like this simply add a link url to your home with the text "all categories".

Thanks for the reply. What I was really after was a link where people can view all the listings at once. So if someone does not want to click on each and every sub-category they can just view them all at once, as an option.

I still don't get the point

- You mean the way ClassiPress actually work in the home page: show latest ads by date but ALL categories are included... simply use the pagination to see more and more and more and more... right?

- Or you want to really show ALL ads: this means a site with tons of ads will have an endless rolling to the bottom of the page

A while back I was given good advice how to create a page that listed all my ads in alphabetical order, by title only. No other info was shown and the titles were clickable.

I'm afraid I don't have facility right now to find you the exact thread but if you search for threads started by me you will find it. It was between December and March.

Lausha, simpy create a single category called 'All Ads' and have all the ads listed to it...!!!!

Is there a way in Classipress where you have to open all category in one page? like everything is in there. Instead of choosing ads per date or specific category, is it possible to view everything?

This sounds quite weird to me!
Imagine a website with tons of ads... are you planning to show all of them? lot of time to load, tons of ads in one page only... doesn't make any sense to me. Anyway, try to set a higher number in your WordPress reading settings (as much ads as you want to view) and you'll have this done.
