Desperately Inneed of help.. please..

I just purchased a classıpress theme but could not actıvate it in wordpress. I have a wordpress blog, and bought a domain under wordpress registrar. I hosted my wordpress blog and activated it in bluehost. After downloading the classipress theme i tried to upload it directly in wordpress under appearance--themes but wordpress wont let me upload a custom theme (or maybe i dont know how)/
After reading some how to and tutorials i uploaded the zip format theme in bluehost under file manager-wp content-themes and extracted it. but still i couldnt find the theme when i go back to wordpress dashboard -appearance-themes.

Please, I need some help here on how to upload and activate the classipress to change my current wordpress theme. or suggestions on what I have to do to make it work/

From what you mention, you followed the correct steps. Does your /wp-content/themes/ folder now display a folder called 'classipress'?

Yes. In bluehost. It does display the folder. But i cant see it when i log in to wordpress. Do i have to transfer my domain to bluehost maybe? i dnt know what am doing wrong yet.

What do you mean more specifically?

Are you saying that you have an existing blog that can be accessed in a browser with an address such as (example) http://www.myfunkyfailedblog.com ?

And that even right now you can go to such an address in your browser and see your Wordpress pages as they are hosted from the server at BlueHost?

When you went to Appearances the Custom theme has to be uploaded as a .ZIP file., not as a folder with a bunch of other Classipress files inside it.
Maybe you should try going back into Bluehost and renaming "classipress" to "badclassipress" or some such name.

Then try it again in Themes in the Online Wordpress blog, uploading the .ZIP file. I assume that you do not have a bunch of plugins already installed. If you do, deactivate ALL of your plugins first, before trying to re-upload the Classipress ZIP file.

I followed the instructions on apptheme on how to install a classipress theme. And one if the requirements was to have my blog hosted first. Also i followed some procedures from wordpress on how to install a custom theme. Wordpress says that they dont support custom themes and gave an option that i have to get my blog hosted on hosts who offer theme uploads. So bluehost one of them and hosted my blog there.

I can view my blog and go to the dashboard. But i cant find the "add new theme/upload" option.? am wondering how i activate it the theme.

In bluehost file manager i uploaded the theme in zip format and extracted it too. So i have both the zip and extracted one. I will try renaming it maybe if that will work.

but from the youtube videos that i see and tutorials am supposed to have a direct link to upload the theme from wordpress. But i cant see that option. Thats the problem.

Are you sure you're logging into wordpress on your bluehost hosted site?
I'm asking because I have a friend that did that same mistake and he was actually ftp'ing into his hosted site, but was then trying to activate it his wordpress.com site...
