    hoe to avoid wp sticky posts from coming up on the front page

    Hey guys
    I have sub-domain blog based on wp . what I need to do is to avoid sticky posts from showing up first .on the front page I made a 1000 * 250 box containing sticky posts. under the sticky posts, latest posts are listed . the problem is that now the sticky posts are listed at the top of the recent post list ! I want sticky posts to be displayed on their own place based on post date . is there any method to do this ?

    It depends on the theme you using how it handles the sticky


    I love to help out you out but please read this first Have you tried to install in a root domain? Have you tried to Resave permalinks? Have you tried to disable all plug in? Have you tried the default theme of Wordpress?
