I am new to classipress. I want to rename "category" and some other titles. What is the appropriate php files and where do I find the php files? ... please provide step by step instructions to finding the php. thank you.
If your request for the word "category" is the one in the top menu, you can find it inside the theme-header.php (around line 129) which is in the wp-content/themes/classipress/includes/ folder.
it's not in the appearance/editor section. You have to look at the original zip file which contains the classipress folders and files. This zip file is what you downloaded in the very beginning and probably saved on your desktop or somewhere on your computer. There, you can find the php files. You edit it there and then use filezilla or some FTP program to make your updates. Hope this helps.
