Geocoding - 2,500 or 25,000 limit per day?

Using Vantage and the importer, the notes say there is a limit of 2,500 geocodes per day, yet I've seen in some of the other threads discussing this as well as the Google Maps API page referenced that the limit is 25,000 per day..........so, which is it?

Also, if I'm importing thousands of listings via the importer each day, are these counting towards the geocode daily limit or is the limit based on actual visitors coming to the site? For example, if I were to import 3,000 listings in one day, will I hit the 2,500 limit and the last 500 listings imported won't get maps created? If the limit is 25,000, then I guess I wouldn't have an issue.

Any clarification would be appreciated.
