Phone links

No bug, just a problem.

Nowadays 60-70% of persons visiting a site do so by mobile phone. The Vantage theme is very responsive so this is no problem. However it is not "mobile friendly".

For instance, the phone number of the listing cannot be accessed with a mobile phone, which frustrates the entire effort.

I have developed a work-around, (which you can see from the 3 attachments - the url is http://ttguide.biz) and this tells me it can be done. But my work-around is tremendously cumbersome and time-consuming. It consists of adding some phone-link code right after the listing name, and then dropping the phone number down to the next line. Now the site visitor can with 2 clicks be talking to the listing owner, which is an accustomed part of the mobile experience.

It works, but what if I have 1000 listings or even 500! And what if an owner wants to do his own listing? Besides, I now have to go back and remove all the junk code from the permalinks, which attracts it from the title.

I am not an expert, but I've been around long enough to see phone links working in dozens of applications.

So could our vastly competent programmers do something, whether custon css or shortcode or macro or whatever, to solve this and bring us into the modern era? I have that confidence!
